狩野探淵守真 Kano Tanen Morizane (1805-1853)
Late Edo period painter. His name was Morizane and his painting name was Tanbun. Eldest son of Kano Tanshin Morimichi. The eighth generation of the Kajibashi Kano family. Participated in the production of barrier paintings for the Edo Castle Honmaru and Nishinomaru. Became Hogen in the first year of the Koka era.

with signature 'Tanen Hogen Fujiwara Morizane' 探淵齋 法眼 藤原 守真 and seal 'Tanen' 探淵
