狩野安信 Kano Yasunobu (1614-1685)
He was the third son of Kano Takanobu (1571-1618) and succeeded Kano Sadanobu (1597-1623) as head of the Kyoto branch in 1623. Yasunobu was the youngest brother of Kano Tanyu (1602-1674), one of the most prominent painters of the Kano school. Yasunobu was a painter who surpassed his talent with hard work.
